Given the times we are all living in, you may have questions about participating. We’ve prepared short and sweet FAQs just for you.
Is it safe to participate in a golf tournament right now?
The Texas Medical Association rates golf as a Level 3 activity on their COVID-19 Risk Chart. We are also working in partnership with Stonebriar to ensure the safety of our guests by implementing enhanced social distancing, sanitation and safety protocols.
Do I need to register today? I don’t know my schedule for Sept. 14.
We understand there are unknowns when it comes to personal schedules and availability. Our staff is happy to accommodate individual and team registrations leading right up to the event – but, when we fill up we cannot surpass capacity limits. We encourage players to register as soon as possible.
I know that support for My Possibilities is essential during this time. How does a golf tournament help HIPsters now?
Thanks to our presenting sponsor, Scott + Reid, and our many generous sponsors, the cost of the tournament has been covered. Registrations, as well as purchases and donations made day-of directly support HIPsters through various programs at MP.
I am unable to participate in the tournament, but I still want to support My Possibilities and the HIPsters. What can I do?
Donate the cost of an individual or team registration to MP. Your contribution helps us continue to navigate the evolving challenges associated with serving adults with disabilities who are disproportionately impacted by this pandemic.
See you on the green!
