Associate Director of Programs

Scott Saucier

Associate Director of Programs

Scott’s 28-year career working with special needs adults began in 1989 when he walked into a small program in Richardson having no idea as to what the next three decades would have in store. His initial thought; give it a couple of years, gain some experience and move on.  It was here that he first realized the potential of adults with special needs and that there could be so much more to their lives than even he understood. Those couple of years turned into 21, and when he finally “moved on,” he never imagined the journey that was about to begin.  In June of 2010, Scott was brought on as an Instructor at My Possibilities, and it was here that he first realized his potential and began to grow as a teacher.

As the Achieve Program Coordinator, Scott works side-by-side with a small team of educators to create and implement ideas with one goal in mind, to provide HIPsters a forum to learn, experience and be themselves; to find their own strengths and succeed to the best of their abilities.

As an instructor under the Directing My Future Pillar, Scott helps provide a strong foundation of leadership, advocacy, problem solving, and personal responsibility through classroom instruction and by providing opportunities HIPsters might not have anywhere else.
